Why Some Small Businesses Succeed Where Others Fail

Hello and welcome to my blog on all topics related to business. I come from a long line of entrepreneurs. I am one of a few members of my family who have not yet started a business, though that doesn't mean I won't try in the future. My name is Stacy Pascal and I have spent years interrogating family members in order to find out everything I can about what it is like to run a business. I have decided to start blogging about business topics just for fun and so that I can hopefully help someone start and run a successful business.

Three Scenarios Where You Need A Lighting Installer

Lighting is something most everyone generally takes for granted. You need light, you flip on a switch. It does not matter if that switch is a lamp or a ceiling light. Now, if the room does not have a ceiling light, you need a lamp. If you get a lamp, then you do not really need a ceiling light. However, there are times and places where a ceiling light is ideal.

 In a Commercial Office Space

Lighting installation services are required in most office building spaces. The lighting installer typically installs troffer lights in these spaces because most offices have drop-tray ceiling tiles, and the troffer lights fit in perfectly with this type of ceiling. You need an installer for this job because every troffer light panel has all of its own electrical wiring that travels through the ceiling above the tray tiles and connects with an electrical switch box located elsewhere in the building.

In a Church with Cathedral Ceilings

Cathedral ceilings by their very design are so high up above the floor that there is no way you could reach them to install any sort of lighting fixture on your own. Most of the time, you have to get a scissor lift into the church just to change light bulbs. Ergo, if you are going to install any sort of lighting in a church or any building where the cathedral ceilings are too high up for a ladder, you need a lighting installer.

Track Lighting in an Art Gallery

Track lighting in art galleries is quite common. It allows the galleries to control how much light a piece of artwork receives and how much light is focused elsewhere in the galleries' rooms. A lighting installer is almost always involved with this sort of lighting installation because the gallery needs help getting the right number of track lighting lamps on the tracks and turning those lamps in just the right direction. The installer will adjust the number of lamps and their positions until the artwork receive enough light for gallery guests to observe it but not so much light that the artwork will be harmed by excessive light.

Not Sure If You Need Help?

The most enthusiastic DIYer will think that lighting is not hard to install. At least, that is what he/she thinks until he/she opens a box with a ceiling fan that has three lighted globes attached to it. If you are not sure you need help, consider talking to a pro just in case.
